I was surprised not to find a thread on this topic doing a search.

How do you guys with 308 or 328 GTS models keep the removable roof panel reasonably shiny? I don't want a high gloss, just something shinier than the dull flat black it is when I don't do anything.

I've been using Meguiar's Vinyl/Rubber Protectant, which works quite well at first but has no staying power whatsoever. Is there something just as easy to apply (spray on & buff) that will last longer?

I have always used a product called 303 on all my vinyl. Looks good for quite a while, and no negative long term effects.

ArmorAll Tire Foam. It is the stuff you spray on your tires and leave. Spray it onto a rag and wipe it on. I did it ONCE last summer and it still is a semi-glossy black.

303 protectant is a great product. I have also used Son of a Gun from STP with no oily residue.

I coated the targa panel on my old '85 308 QV using Griots Vinyl / Rubber Dressing as well....applied a few coats using a round cotton applicator pad, and it remained looking brand new afterwards.
