We all know 430s are now up to 20 years old. A lot for a car, even if pampered, regardless of mileage .

I really care for my car but have to rely on my dealer, as in my country there are no indies and I’m fairly basic mechanically.

So given the age, what do you guys suggest is appropriate to inspect/renew/replace - given the car is a keeper? I’m sure my dealer would write a long list….

I’m aware of scary things like airbag replacement but also keen to be made aware of other things that won’t be on Ferraris service schedule like rubbers , windscreen seals, hoses etc

The assumption here is the car is a (virtually) garage queen (12k miles 2008) , garages 100% and and has no weather related or mileage related issues .

I would say we want to avoid using the term "crispy" to describe our vehicles considering past events with the fuel pumps :D

Just FYI, you don't need to replace the airbags. When airbags were new, manufacturers didn't know how they would degrade over time so expiration dates were placed on them with notices to replace. Since then, it has been determined that there is no degradation or safety risk and such warnings have been left off new cars. The F430 is likely one of the last vehicles that had a warning to replace the airbags.
