Keith Richard's 246 on eBay...

Price is crazy, although the Dino Register does indicate that it may have been owned by Keith Richards as the 3rd owner during some unspecified period of time. And it does appear that it is in Japan now.

In other words, MAYBE Keith Richards owned it.

And what the hell is up with the trunk. What's the battery doing in there? Where's that piece of tin from?

All in all, the interior is pretty crappy, too.

No indication of tools, books, etc.

Famous driver/owner or not, this ain't no $80K car. Not now, not ever.

If he gets it I'll be amazed.

I think I'll drop him an email and see what he's really looking for.

perhaps, better said probably, the seller will get what he asks for, but not from a Ferrari fan, but from a Rolling Stones fan.
Try selling a very well worn Fender stratocaster on ebay and describe it as pre-owned by Jimmy Hendrix and you'll get amazing bids

Keith Richards is a god in Japan. Yeah, I know, musicians everwhere dig him but in Japan it seems like every male of a certain age who plays guitar will tell you he wants to be like Keith. (at least that's what they all told me when I lived there in the 90s: I doubt his fame and influence has faded). I bet the car will stay in Japan.

 

Man, you could probably check the door panels and the gas tank and DOUBLE your money then!

Also, I believe Keith's bourbon of choice is called Rebel Yell. Check for a bottle or tow under the seats. When Keith is "clean," I think he goes trough a ciplpe of bottles of those a day.

the price is soo high becuase keith probably left alot of blow in car just gotta find it to make it worth ur wild .. imagine how much road head that vehicle has seen

 

no big surprise, the car was a no bid.

Maybe he'll get lucky in Europe or Japan with it, but I don't think the celebrity thing garners much value here.
