If a guy wanted a project 348.....for the right price anything can be fixed.

55,000 miles. Needs paint, engine work, interior, electrical.

    What's a 348 parts car worth?

If is was a challenge car, everyone would love the color. I think it's cool. Put some stickers on it and drive the crap out of it.

I think it's a good deal for someone who enjoys DIY and seller seems very upfront about the car.

I like the color. Sort of like that Porsche signal green.

I say paint the wheels yellow and put a John Deere badge on her! :D I jest....

In addition to the repaint.....a corrected car fax and autocheck in the works for odometer issues. I would be curious if its been wadded up before. Certainly might be a deal for someone to get a 'possibly decent driver' 348 at the bottom of the price range. But if the plan is to put it back, you would be far wiser to buy a known car without the issues.

Not worth what he's asking, for a slight bit more you can find a clean car with no stories and "normal" paint. I honestly don't like that green at all.

It's not easy being green.

I saw that one earlier today when browsing eBay. Good grief, that color is ghastly for a car - definitely needs a full paint job to rescue it.

    This one looks nicer:

Although that one, being a TB, needs to have the black skirts restored. The factory would apply the black finish over the top of painted parts anyway, so that's an easy job for someone.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

It truly looks like the exact same color as my John Deere tractor. I mean spot on. Yellow wheels? I like it!

Is that antenna in the rear a normal location for the 348? First I ever noticed something like that.

that green paint (what was he thinking) would require a full strip and repaint.....probably 15g and up....what a hideous color.

Is the seller is being totally upfront when the ad states this:

"Secondly, the major issue with the car is that the exhaust has been removed and a straight pipe exhaust is running from the headers though the catalytic converters and straight out the tailpipes. It sounds like an F1 car but is not subtle and refined. This is driving the reason I am selling the car."

    and this:

"There are lots of OEM exhausts on ebay for $500..."

If the primary reason it's being sold is the exhaust, and the seller knows there are ways to easily solve this, why is the car for sale?

All I'm saying is go in eyes wide open and believe nothing stated. This car will never bring $39k or anywhere near that amount unless a total newb buys it.

For $20k, this would be a great restoration project assuming the restoration could be done for $35k.

I noticed that odd location too. The power antenna on my 91 was installed on the right hand side. The battery doesn't leave room for much of anything in that location on the left side.
