kers at monaco

I don't think the amount of braking makes a difference, they are limited to 6 seconds per lap of kers.

 

You need weight in the front at monaco, and I believe the KERS are more center/rearwards mounted? I'd be surprised if a team ran it IMO. It's not going to do you much good anyways since its neigh on impossible to overtake, even at the start!

 

Apparently Ferrari and mclaren will be using it.

Same here. I can see them having a big advantage on the hill though. Useless if their stuck behind anyone though.

I'm even more surprised that ferrari are using it since in pretty much all GP's they had issues with it, bar melbourne.

What do they have to lose? The rest of the season doesn't look to be anything more than a series of test weekends for them.

 

During the race it might be less of an advantage but if it helps you get pole at Monaco...

I really hope Ferrari's KERS won't be an issue at all. Frankly, i think it's a mistake to run KERs in Monaco.

 

According to the BBC only McLaren are using Kers.
