Anyone know of or have dealings with the Kessler Auto Group of Miami? Your input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nope. Ask to see a copy of title front and back(make sure they have it in hand) and make sure you really do your homework with those FLA boys.

i bought a 348 from a guy that owned it for less than a year and bought it at Kessler. They absolutely SLAUGHTERED him on the price, but that was probably his own fault. They knocked his head off to the tune of around $20K.

Try posting in FL section. I have no direct experience and have heard nothing either positive nor negative about them.

I've done a few PPIs on their cars for buyers. So far nothing terrible, but the prices have kept most deals from getting done.

Thanks guys. They have an interesting 360 Spider with cream seats that seems a bit overpriced, though I'd like that color interior in the 100 degree South! As always, caveat emptor.

Steven Kessler was an authorized Ferrari dealer in NYC in late 70s-early 80s. I think he got phased out when FNA reduced dealers.

I seem to recall other posts re them after they moved to FL so maybe try a search.

RE cream interior, I agree they look good but show wear easily and are tough to keep clean

I've done business with Steven for years from a dealers stand point and he has always been honest and reliable about his vehicles. Remember it is not a sin or stupidity to buy the very best. What is stupid is to buy a project, without doing your homework.

I looked at one of his cars for sale. His representation of the mileage did not square with some entries I had found in the maintenance book, which showed the car to have been in Italy for some time before import to the U.S. The car had likely had more than 20,000 miles there. I stayed away from the car and was concerned with representations made by Mr. Kessler.
