01/16/2011 - KewlRides Chillin Sunday - Alpharetta GA

It's a new year and KewlRides's celebrates the New Year after a very successful 2010 Toys for Tots with the first of the 2011 year KewlRides Chillin' Meet & Greet. The informal cruise-in will be this coming Sunday the 16th of January 2011. The location is the usual; Millers Ale House in Alpharetta, GA & Old Home Depot Expo parking lot, there is more than enough space to accommodate a large gathering of cars.

So drag that KewlRides out of the garage, call some friends and tell them to rev up those cars, come on out and enjoy the day. See you there.

This month's charity is the Salvation Army Food Bank; bring your can and dry box goods for donation.

Hope to see you there; we’ll be there, will you?

    Thanks

Very cool (kewl?) and the weather looks good for Sunday. My company does a lot of work with the Salvation Army and I'll try to be there. I'll send it out to some of my friends too.

Fantastic, Mark, come out out the parking area is huge and the folks at Miller's love when we converge on them.

What exit off of 400 is this and is it East or West of 400? What are the times?

Take the Mansell Road exit off of 400 and go west to the next light, then turn right. You'll see the Ale House on your left. I think the show time is usually from about 11 to 3 or so.

Thanks Jim, yes cruise-in is from 11 to 3, Mansell Road exit is #8 on 400 between Haynes Bridge (#9) and Holcomb Bridge (#7) Roads exits. Down the ramp head west to the traffice light at the Team Chevrolet and On the Border corner, turn rigt onto Davis and Miller's is up the hill on the left before Pappadeaux.

Looks like the weather is going to be decent but all that sand/crap all over the roads gives me second thoughts. I don't mind getting the car dirty but in the last two days my Subie's windshield has been hammered twice with rocks, one that looks like a windshield replacement will be in my future. Definitely not something I want to happen with the 308. I'll do some road recon this weekend, hopefully they will be relatively clear.

I agree. With all the sand/salt/rocks that has been put down, I doubt if I will be taking the 328 anywhere until next month's Caffeine & Octane. Sorry.....
