    I replaced my key fob batteries two months ago with Tyrone brand 3V CR1220, they worked, but they have already died. Does anyone have a recommendation for a longer lasting brand? Also, in the process of changing the batteries last April, I lost the little plastic ring that houses the two batteries. Is this piece important or maybe have something to do with the short battery life I am experiencing? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

    Are you sure the batteries are dead? Did you test them with a voltage meter? If you don't use the key fob for a while, it loses its memory and you have to follow a procedure to reprogram it.

    Give the contacts and battery a clean with electrical cleaner and a cotton bud

    I just go to an Interstate battery store for mine. They can check the batteries there

    Not sure Mark works on F430 or 612 fobs.

    Ah, ok, Terry. I assumed again :oops:

    I assumed that because Mark was incorporating 360 immo fobs into keys now (430 style), I thought that was because he had had experience with 430 fobs.
