    Just FYI to all .. for years I have had an intermittent failure of my key fob . Batteries replaced , contacts cleaned , even fob replacement ! ( ouch ) . Finally a very smart mechanic discovered that some China made batteries are off by a few microns in size . Just enough to cause issues .

    I had a problem with the keyfob also - 04 360CS. one day it just stopped working. replacing the battery did nothing. Cleaned the contacts did nothing. I just used the second set of keys. A few months later the fob decided to work again. No idea why.
