When I got my 355 I never received the key for the little storage box behind the seats. I have been able to pry it open but the Ferrari dealer wants $680 for a new key and cylinder, anyone else have a better solution?

take the tumblers to a locksmith. Don't tell him it's for a Ferrari & the charge should be under $20.

I am missing that key also. Can someone who has it please post a pic of it. I am wondering if the correct black is available to have it cut for the lock that exists.

    Thank you

Thank you Barry. That looks like the blank ricambi sells. When I asked them if they had the blank for that glovebox they said no.

Ill get one of those and try and have it cut from my lock

I had the same issue. There is a plastic nut on the back side of the tumbler that should be finger tight. Remove the tumbler and take it to a locksmith as stated before, and they will cut you a set of keys. I had mine done at a locksmith in Seaside while in Monterey during car week last August and he charged me $20 to make a key and 2 extra spares. The key blank should be pretty common for Fiat and other cars.

This is the key that came with my car. It doesn't have a cavallino on it by it does have a seahorse.
