Has anyone done this? My car had an aftermarket alarm, but no fobs when I bought it. I took the alarm out not knowing that it might also have keyless entry. I have the section L electrical manual, but I can't make heads or tails out of the thing. Tracing each wire through each connector (via the manual) doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere. Does anyone know where to start? Should I just pull the actuators and bench test them then backtrack from there?

95s did not come with fobs. They are Motronic 2.7 and the 3 fob system was not introduced on the 456 until Motronic 5.2 was introduced in CY 96.

Yes, that I know. But mine had an aftermarket alarm which would have come with fobs. I removed the alarm because I didn't have the aftermarket fobs. I didn't think at the time that it might also handle keyless entry. I wish I would have kept the alarm and made note of it's attachments, at the time I thought it might be lojack or something like that.

I think I have figured it out, although the L manual section for the 456M is of no help on the '95 456 because the lock system is completely different. The M has a relay and a remote while the 95 is direct wired (like a 3 way switch in a house.)

The system is a 12v positive trigger, I was able to identify the wires using the key lock micro switch and tracing back from there. I then went through the door connector and near the fusebox I can identify the wires I need to send signal to. The trunk pop is easy as there is a dash mounted switch. Soon, I will have keyless entry on a 95, and the whole thing will be mounted in the tunnel and will be completely reversible. Now I just have to decide if I want parking light flash on lock.
