Would anybody be interested in a keyless entry system specifically tailored for the 348/355. This kit includes two switch blade key fobs, silmilar to the ones used by Mercedes and Audi, except these have a very nice ferrari logo on the reverse side (this fob houses the remote contorl unit and has 348/355 key blanks). The remote allows the doors to be opened and locked as well as the fuel filler door to be released.

The kit includes detialed video instructions and can be installed in under 25 minutes on either car. My frined and I have installed them on each of our ferrari's and they work flawlessly.

The cost of each of these kits will be between is $225 - $275 (plus shipping), additional remote control key fobs can be ordered at a cost of $50.00 each.

We also have the system available for the mondial, although the mondial kit includes a trunk release, instead of the fule filler door.

Why do you need a keyless entry system when you can just reach in and unlock the door?

Actually, my car does have a keyless entry. It came with the car when I bought it, and it has worked flawlessly. It's a two button remote, but I have no idea what the second button does. Button one will lock/unlock the doors when I'm within about 10 feet of the car. Remote is by "DEI", if I remember correctly.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

I was traveling on business. Thanks everyone for the interest. I think the key can be modified to fit the 550. I will ask the engineer who designed them for my biddy and I. (mine is on my monidal T and his is on his 355, (we also installed one on a 348).

I am pretty new to the forum, as well as F-car ownership (so far so good). So I will try and post a pic and include my contatc info.

BTW my name is Ed Bissada
