+1. my thing is this, why did the news station put this video online? all they did was do exactly what the other girls wanted, which is fame because of the video. bad move on their part, imo.

You should of seen my high school cheerleading team. Not only were they ugly, but they kept dropping people when they try to catch or lift them. What it made it funnier was the fact they thought they were God's gift to the people.

I'm surprised that the one person didn't defend themselves at all. We should be concerned that kids don't know how to defend themselves, instead of teaching peace, teach karate.
When groups do this kind of thing a "pack"(as in dog) mentality kicks in and they will do extreme things that they would not normally do individually. Have fun paying the price girls.

I was watching Nancy Grace last night (surprised myself since I usually can't stand her), and the judge (i believe) of that county said as Florida records it's public info. Therefore the police chose to release the 3 minute part they did. Where did you find their mugshots without being blurred? Normally being under 18 they don't show the faces. I for one, think that if you do a crime, your face should be shown. Whether your 13 or 90. Under 13 I would say is questionable though. Supposedly some of these girls are also honors students. Their joking around in jail is pitiful, and to me shows a lack of discipline at home. They need to get the most severe punishment period. They don't think they are going to get the book thrown at them. There's a big suprised in store for them. They also better hope that the victims vision and hearing come back as well. I would think if it didn't that would result in another charge being added?

I assume the 17 and 18 yr olds will be tried as adults. What about the younger ones? Anyone familiar with Florida law?
Supposedly they range in age from 14-18. Some defense attorney on Nancy Grace, said that the 15 and 16 year olds will probably be tried as adults. The 14 year old, he would hope the D.A. would fight to get them sent through the juve courts.
