+1 - A pay raise is in order for Felipe. Maybe Kimi will take some advice from MS. Certainly couldnt hurt him in the slightest.

I'll give it a shot. I translated it very direct, so the english isn't the best, but I wanted to avoid to alter the message. As you can see the article was about the last races and not being motivated since there was no chance to win anything anyways anymore.

    Translation:
KR F1 season ended in a dissapointment, when 2007 WDC was in the final standings only third.

WDC was taken by Hamilton just over KR teammate Massa. KR admits that to the last races it was hard to be motivated, when he couldn't drive at maximum attack anymore. Teamate Massa fought over WDC to the last race.

-one knows itself when driving as third, and nothing can be done, one is not driving the whole race at max, KR admits to MTV3

-Ofcorse if one fights for a position, one tries as long as possible, like i did in last race (Brazil). Ofcourse if one is not really allowed to pass or something, it's littlebit like that, KR continues.

KR wants to forget the past season "after a while/soon". He trusts in the future and believes the italian team to get the f1 car to an even better shape next season.

-Ofcourse its different when one has good positions and drives for the championship. I think we will get a strong season next year. We'll try to improove, KR says

Kimi has said that his dream would be driving in F1 without any media or celebrity status. The other thing is that Finns tend to be bad in "marketing spech" often just blunt out in a stupid honest way what they are thinking. Which imo is a good thing but doesn't allways come out well since many others speak "marketing langauge" so fluently.

Top gear on here tonight James May, in Finland talking and getting the crap scared out him, in a rally spec Merc, by one of my fav drivers, Mika Hakkinen.

JM was asking why Finnish drivers are so good and why there are so many of them, mainly rally, they start young, 3 year drivers test, in the wet/dry you name it.
Correct me if wrong!! Finnish folk..;)

Downloading it at the moment, can't wait. One correction thou, drivers test isn't 3 years, most take in maybe about 6 months but can be taken even faster. It is a two part test where the second part is taken after 6 to 24 months after first drivers (temporary) licence is had. But yes it does include obligatory "slippery surface training"

    Back to topic......

Another Finnish legend like tango? I have a Finnish DL, among other ones, and can legally drive in Finland anything except a commercial bus....and it sure wasn't 3 years. I think that the real answer is that there's nothing else remotely interesting to do in Finland aside from sauna, drinking and f&@#ing.

Kimi doesn't need any advice from MS. He is the fastest driver out there. All he needs is motivation.

Regarding Massa: He is not a champion yet, so let's revisit his motivation once he has reached the highest level.

Couldn't agree more. That's one of the reason I'm a huge Kimi fan: He speaks his mind. He isn't making anything up. His post race interviews are almost as frank as JPM's and a far cry from the polished PR talk somebody wrote for MS to repeat.

well he left me pretty cold :)

I don't think anyone doubts his ability, just his committment and ability to qualify well ... maybe Webber/Trulli and he can swap racing suits for qualifying to get the car up where it is capable
