Sorry if this is a repost..... Kimi prepared himself for next week's season opener by participating snowmobile King competetion in the north of Finland yesterday. Snowmobile King competition is kinda national championship event. Kimi surprised everyone by being fastest in the 24 km snowmobile enduro race. There were world class competitors with, some even wdc top 3 material. For instance Ahmasalo who participated has won US snowcross championship ( driven in halls). http://aycu04.webshots.com/image/10163/2003928149831161388_rs.jpg Funny thing is that in the participation list there was a mysterious name "JAMES HUNT" before the event took place, which appeared to be Kimi Räikkönen. The organizers had a little humour! And for those how don't know who James Hunt was: http://home.online.no/~orjanbye/fyfazanf1/objektivet/arkiv1/james_hunt_1976.jpg
Apparently Kimi could be a professional snowmobile racer if he wasn't in F1, he never ceases to amaze me.
Kimi is the man. I read in a F1 racing mag some years back where Kimi was doing some fantastic stunts in a motocross bike at one of the races. He even made it virtually stationary and hop about without putting his foot down for the longest time. I am glad Kimi didnt injure himself - don't want a Montoya like tennis incident. Gilles Villeneuve was supposed to be awesome on snowmobiles - he raced them before he got onto cars.
Kimi is one of those people that could be fast in anything. Kimi could probably dominate any racing forum right now, including NASCAR.
+1 I really can't wait for the season to start. This ought to be awesome. That Picture of Hunt says it all. Andreas, remember Eddie Irvine before Kimi was the second James Hunt, except Irvine didn't smoke.
