    if so it was likely Jim Clark and Mario Andretti (pre-F1 title)?

    I think Clark only did one NASCAR race, at Rockingham, and I doubt if Mario was in the same race, because he only did a few himself (although one was his win in the Daytona 500!)

    Fun event. I’ve always liked the road courses on the NASCAR schedule. Definitely cool seeing Kimi and Button out there together. Tough race for the drivers with the restarts but sitting in turn 15 with the sun on our backs it was good for the spectators. Drivers were worn out at the end though. Started to get hot when the sun came all the way out. The cars sound great.

    Button was having problems with the heat, saying he almost stopped because he thought he might pass out. He has a few weeks to get fit for Le Mans.

    All things considered he did rather well. That first turn is brutal and half way through temps really started to rise. Excited to see how they do at Le Mans.

    No easy task for Reddick either. It was impressive how he’d pull away after a restart. He only weighs 125 pounds.
