Under the old points system (10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1), Kimi would be in 2nd place going into Brazil and trailing LH by only 4 points. :) If Kimi were to win with LH finishing 2nd or worse, Kimi would win the WDC. If he gets 2nd, Lewis can finish 5th or worse and lose the WDC. Finally, if he finishes 3rd and LH DNFs or finishes 7+, Kimi wins it as well. It's just something to keep an eye out for, but I realize teams act differently given points standings so McLaren might not be as conservative in this case, prior races, etc. Just for fun :D

I believe that if Lewis and Kimi tie on points, Lewis would still be Champion based on 5th place finishes. Kimi has to beat him outright to win the title.

Kimi owns the tiebreaker. Kimi has 5 wins vs. Lewis' 4. If Lewis wins the Brazilian GP, meaning they have the same number of wins, Lewis will win because he has more points. If they tie in points, that means Kimi will have at least 1 more win (possibly 2) over Lewis.

I was just talking to my friend about the old points system but was too lazy to work it out, so thanx for that :D

Also they need to go back to the old system or atleast have a 3pt gap from 1st to 2nd...
