Say you are Kimi, the race is nearing the end. Alonso leads, Kimi second, Lewis third. If Kimi let's Lewis by, Lewis will win the championship.
    Otherwise it will be Alonso's.
What's he gonna do? An added benefit of letting Lewis by would be if Lewis went after Alonso and took them both out.

He wouldn't let Lewis by, he's a racer and, anyway, there'd be no benefit to Kimi because Lewis certainly wouldn't try to pass Alonso and risk being taken out - there's no need.

Exactly, can't wait for him to take this one. Hopefully those guys are not going to finish close enough to Kimi.

    A more interesting question:

Kimi is in first. Alonso 5th. Lewis 6th.

If Alonso lets Lewis past, Lewis beats Kimi by 1 point. If he doesn't Kimi ties Lewis and wins the tiebreak.

Does Alonso act like a mature team player, by letting his rookie teammate beat him in an equal car in a season which he was expected to dominate Hamilton? Or does he prefer to lose to Kimi, from a rival team, but a veteran who was expected to beat Alonso from the start of the season?

Does he decide to smooth relations with Ron Dennis over by pulling over? Or does he make his car as wide as a 777 and snuff the last bit of life out his relationship with Mclaren as he heads to Renault?

IMHO that decision would be made by Alonso on the last lap of the race, with confirmation that Kimi just won. Till that point he is still racing for the title, he is still in with a chance he be crazy to let him pass.
If he was to pull over it be on the very last corner aka Rubens style just to show the world that he was ordered to pull over and taint Lewis's title even more so. hahaha.
