Those are more smiles that I have seen out of him since his birth. j/k. Can't wait for the racing to start.
But atleast he was driving a RED car! As a side note, it seems as Kimi getting photographed not only smiling but also with thumbs up is his new thing, maybe a thoroughly thougt image campaign ?
I'd be smiling too if I were moving from a car that blew up every other race to a car that blew up every other year...
Any word on if he has a Ferrari road car yet? I know about the whole Enzo thing, but word on an official car of his?
Its funny looking at the above pics of Raikonnen and then looking at the shot of Alonso on todays cover of Autosport. Clean shaven, cropped hair - look of Montoya about him. Looks like he's been through a brain washing session - no wonder Kimi is smiling now, he's escaped a single sex boarding school and is now at University - sex, drugs and rock'n'roll - I am actually looking forward to the F1 season starting which is unusual for me
probably not? imagine driving is new Ferrari with the finger up.....wow where do you come from, Texas?
Wonder if the white and tricolore stripes will also be a theme on the new car - a throwback to the 70's... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just read on FerrariWorld.com that the drivers will have the stripes on their suits and the cars' livery will be slightly different - whatever that means.
i hope they put the italian flag/stripe onto the car....something similiar to a CS stripe. in the middle, right from the front end till the rear end..
I hope not, the last time they did that same theme (Don't remember the exact year, but it was during the Alesi era), the cars were crap.
That's true. 1992 (F92A - with stripes around the cockpit opening) and 1993 (F93A - white engine cover and stripe around cockpit) were the worst years for them in recent history. I remember being at Ferrari in the summer of '92 for a job interview and while waiting to go in, I was speaking to the guard as the F92A was being tested for the French GP. I asked which of the drivers, Alesi or Capelli, was testing and he responded: "They're both here today, but frankly, I don't know why they bother - the more they test, the slower they seem to go!" That was the pre-Todt era, though. So, maybe less white on the cars, then. Although I would like to see the drivers in white - I'm bored with the red suits.
