LOL, are you kidding me, he has a few beers and goes to a karaoke bar and that is considered partying?? I'll worry when they find him with a shaved head running around naked in Amsterdam drugged out of his mind looking for transvestites............
They all drink. Highest alcoholism rate on the planet have the Finn's. What else is there to do in such a place?
If I had a Number 1 or 2 seat at Ferrari I'll be out partying also. Hey Life is good! Enjoy it to its fullest. And season starts only in a few days. its time to have some fun before the big show
This is the first time in over 50 years that anyone on Scuderia Ferrari has ever let alcohol touch their lips. Thought the only exception was when they got champaign on the podium. I am really shocked at this behavior. I used to only drink on days that end in Y. Now I only drink on days that start wirh T: Today and Tomorrow.
The current crop of F1 drivers are all lightweights when it comes to partying-James Hunt knew what partying was all about.
I think the difference now is the have to keep it on the low. Back then no one cared if they partied. As far as McLaren banning thier drivers from drinking i have a feeling that the champange on th podium isn't gonna get sprayed anymore.......
Ron Dennis is a putz. I think he should worry more about the performance of his cars than of a proven performer like Alonso. Actually, I don't think he is a putz, I think he is an ass.
I actually don't even believe the story, sounds like PR to me. There is no way Dennis could ever monitor that and he knows it.
Look out! Personality Alert! An F1 driver actually behaving like a human being. There goes the neighborhood.
Who said that top racing drivers should stay away from cigarettes and alcohol???? One of the World's absolute best racing drivers Jan Magnussen who is a three time GT1 class winner of Le Mans for team Corvette, will most certainly light himself a cigaret as soon as he jumps out of the car! When most other drivers will be fittness training, Jan relaxes and enjoys his life and his cigarettes!!! That's the way it should be....IMHO!!! Carsten
Who knows how much is true behind this story ! it is the tabloid newspaper after all ! But, if it is true, i'am not impressed. I can guarantee Fernando or Massa for that matter will not be going out and drinking beer all night 2 weeks before the start off the season ! Most drivers need/have the fittness of a top athlete these days. Schumi rasied the bar for fittness in the sport, being one of the first to race at full capacity from lap 1 to the flag, no matter what track or weather conditions, and most of the grid have had to followed his lead . With championships often being decided by the smallest of margins, i will feel disappionted if Kimi's lack of preparation is the casuse a poor race in the extreme heat of malaysia or bahrain. After all, Schumi stated his main reason for retirement to be his motivation to continue his extreme training programes (8 hours a day)........ I will ask u all this, would u rather have a half fit Kimi in the car, or a half fit Schumi ??
In another serious article this time Kimi says there might be trouble because of the tyre rule (every car has to race on 2 different compounds). So that might lead to some crashes in Monaco, on the hard tyre . Kimi expects trouble
