Maybe he will replace Alonso. Any driver in the paddock would give his left n*t to drive that Red Bull.

Dunno...2014 will be an interesting season, with the engine change; and that could impact the cars a lot. Difficult to foresee if the RB will still be the dominant car...

Not a surprise but good news nonetheless.

Let's hope they can make another good car and do a better job next season.

+1 Kimi at Redbull would be great. Even if Vettel stays put I don't see Weber at age 36 carrying on for that long .

It certainly would be interesting, but from the owner/manager of the team perspective, that would not make great sense: after all, Kimi is only three years younger than Mark, so the age issue would also pop up very soon again. They better sign somebody much younger, to be the next Vettel perhaps...

    Peter,

That would certainly spice the whole thing a bit; but considering things as they are now (depending on the end result of this championship of course) I wonder why Vettel would want Alonso's seat, or a seat at Ferrari, considering that they are doing their best not to have a decent car (considering the last four championships: 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, only the 2010 car was good) and not really supporting their driver(s) with adequate strategy and organisation. I think the "Wunderkind" better stay put with Adrian Newey, even if 2014 should be more about engines.

Because people seem to change teams thinking they can transform them and start winning there. For someone who's won a couple of WDCs surely that would be the next big conquest. Just like so many before, not the least being MS, of course.

    For some it's fruitful, for others....well...Jaques V!!

You've got a point, Peter; in a way, the last one is one Lewis H...his stay at Mercedes will be interesting!
