It's been announced that Kimi will be Top Gear's Star In A Reasonably Priced Car for their season finale episode airing Mar 11. While it will be fun to see how he does against the times set by Seb, Jenson, Lewis, Webber, Hill, Mansell, it will be even more interesting to see how he does in the interview with Clarkson. This could be Clarkson's toughest challenge yet!
The Stig talks more than the Iceman... Could be the automotive equivalent of watching 'The Artist'...
Uh, oh, didn't know Vettel was on Topgear. The seasons we get here on BBC America are several years old (at least that's all I'm finding). Last time I watched TopGear Clarkson introduced the Porsche Cayman. I only knew Hill and Mansell were on there and I'm certain he'll beat them. Assuming it isn't wet (I hate it that they even bother to do any laps in the wet, just destroys the whole idea). So by 2014 I'll probably get to see Vettel...and by 2016 Kimi's fastest lap...
Why wait until then? http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xjx538_sebastian-vettel-top-gear-interview-and-lap_shortfilms
I don't think we ever did. The BBC America stuff was always at least one if not two seasons behind. Must be something about the dubbing/subtitles. Then again, who cares, we got now our own TopGear with Tanner Faust. Yeah, right....
Is their a link to the current episodes? Although I'm not a fan of watching tv programs via computer. Ed
We have a delay but we're not that far behind. Usually it's 3-6 months. The current season being shown in the UK will probably start here in a month or so. In the meantime they show replays, some going back several years. I gave up on the US version. They should have cast Jay Leno, Conan Obrian and Johnny Knoxville...
Last time I was up to speed with TopGear, Barichello had the fastest lap time ... Of course MS chickened out from doing a time . Pete
A teaser of tomorrow show : [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=merbp7mxJ78[/ame] Sadly it looks like the track was wet.
Then why even bother? These guys are within tenths of a second from each other. Track conditions play a much bigger influence here than when Joe Celebrity drives
Head over to streetfire.net, they seem to have all of them. Just search by episode number like this "Top Gear S18E01" Here is a list of important episodes you don't want to miss... .
Agreed. I really wish the track was dry though. I'd love to see his name at the top of the leaderboard.
Great episode, boy them guys have a great life getting paid for dicking around in cars. Kimi was great.
