Kimi unmoved by 2010 speculation **SPOILER**

As I had mentioned in a different thread, a car developed by Alonso and driven by Kimi would be unbeatable. (If Alonso is really so good at the development.)

 

There's a lot of rubbish written about drivers 'developing' cars. It's the designers and engineers who develop cars, they are the ones who understand the physics and the mechanical engineering involved. Yes the drivers have an important input, they have to know exactly what the car is doing and must be able to explain that to the engineers, but it's the engineers who know what needs to be done to get the car to do what the driver wants it to do.

A car 'developed' with Alonso's input would suit Alonso's driving style, Kimi might think it a POS.

 

That already happened to Kimi in '08.
