As I stated in the first thread about this, I don't believe this is actually Kimi's Enzo: The car has ZURICH (ZH) license plates, but Kimi lives in Wollerau, which is SCHWYZ (SZ). His bike has SZ plates. Somebody mentioned that the Enzo belongs to a friend of him. Who could that be?
Yes, custom made by the German and his company. The reference is in the original thread. The thing that is amazing about the bike is the fact that Kimi got it licensed in Switzerland: The Swiss are notorious for deeming anything fun illegal and a custom bike like this would be the first one to get the axe. But maybe the rules can be bent a bit for a F1 star and more importantly a big tax payer. It probably also helped that he was employed by Switzerland's darling Peter Sauber.
Here's the website, many more pics of Kimi's "Iceman" on there... http://www.walz-hardcore-cycles.com/
It's been said that Kimi choose that particular canton (state) because of its minimal taxes. Kimis's friend's car, according to todays tabloid. It didn't say the name though.
ok ok ... it's mine...i confess.. he called, i borrowed it to him in order to add fuel to the fire for current rumour that he's off to Ferrari.
That's true, at least partially: Schwyz has less taxation than Zurich or St. Gallen, which are the nearest other cantons in that area. However he also chose that village, because it is very close to the Sauber factory in Hinwil. For the same reasons Heidfeld lives there as well. But even if you pay less taxes, the local authorities are still very interested in getting a multi millionaire into their neighbourhood. Particularly Schwyz, because the real tax heaven is near by Zug, where all the companies and holdings are head quartered. But Zug would be too far away to commute to Hinwil.
Sometimes reposts are a good thing. I never knew about this photo and would never have come to the forums and just searched for Kimi's Enzo for no reason.
