The World Series started tonight and Eight Men Out is on the Satellite for (probably) the first time in five years! Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes!!!
Aren't there nine players for each side on a baseball team? I don't get it... I'll add it to the fairly long list of things "I don't get". North Americans have such an odd sense of humor.
8 men out is the story of the 1919 white sox team, with 8 of them accused of taking bribes to throw the World Series. The irony is that they played that old movie at the start of the World Series. We're not that odd. On my list of I don't get: cricket.
