Okay guys, you are probably tired of looking at these pictures but someone PM'ed me asking about my avatar and my history in this sort of stuff. I told him I would repost some of the photos so if you do not want to see them again, just click on through.

    1. Me losing an engine just off the line....
    2. My first BMW. Henna Red M3.
    3. Me flashing a victory wave from cockpit of one of my altereds before attempting to launch off the line.
    4. One of my KX 250 Kawasaki's---1973 I believe.
    5. Playing in the mud of the Kawer
    6. My last factory bike...KX250
    7. My friends McLaren that he loaned me for three days in front of a friends house.
    8. My son waving to the camera from the passenger side of the McLaren. Come to think of it, both sides are "the passenger side".
    9. Me passing future national champion Tony Distefano in 1973 at the Lake Whitney 250 Nationals. It was a short lived pass---two corners later.
    10. Flying off the end of the Earth on the famed Carlsbad California downhill.
    11. On the very inside of the turn at Mossier Valley, Texas on the KX250. That is Jody Weisel in the center of the photo and my friend Danny Weir on a 250 Elsinore about to pass between Jody and the guy I am tangled up with.
    12. My first muscle car.....1968 Olds 442. Kept it stock looking. Ported and polished, Crower roller cam, high-rise intake with 650 cfm carb, Doug's headers, Jahns "pop-top" pistons, 4:56 gears and a Hurst spring loaded competition plus shifter. It surprised a few people. Wish I still had it............
    13. 1955 Chevy, 283 bored to 301, dual quad carbs, Duntov red stripe cam, Hooker headers. Had it two years. Wish I had this one too.
    14. Running Rio Bravo in 1970
    15. Risi 333Sp running while I worked with FoDallas
    16. My avatar photo.....The Strip Teaser....my last altered.
    17. Another photo of The Strip Teaser
    18. My normal position about half way through a 250 MX moto.......the entertainment........

Which track? Ennis or Kennedale or maybe even Denton. I have a friend running a Pro Mod Vette. He runs it every month at Texas Raceway in Kennedale. It has done 3.96 in the 1/8 there. Pro Mods are a lot of fun. They remind me of the old "run what ya brung" cars of the 60's.

    Texas Raceway Pro Mod
    Texas Raceway altereds.
    Aerial of Texas Raceway.

Did you ever say which track? I thought I might have missed it. Any pictures of the altered. They are really my passion.

The Strip Teaser was a lot of fun for a fairly economical racecar, except for the transmissions it liked to roast. You know what I mean, push yourself hard back against the rollcage to diminish the effect of the G's produced by the burst of acceleration off the line. I always wanted to break the slicks loose and get the rpm's up a little so the thing would not attempt to stand on its tail. I remember the effect of it bouncing off the wheelie bars and forcing the front tires back down, and just hope you had the butterfly wheel straight and pointed down the track. A 96 in wheelbase car does not offer much of a compromise if you get out of shape and head for the rail early. Do that and watch your opponent motor away while you just try to regain control............Ever done that??????

This is not me, but Wild Willie Borsch, who liked to drive with one hand, in the Wing Foot Express. Been sideways like this a few times.
