    I'm looking for any sort of feedback on the Kinetix performance package, intakes, air boxes, cat and ECU. I'm VERY interested in hearing from anyone who's done this mod, and especially if you've done this mod in combination with headers from any other vendor. I'm getting greedy, and want to maximize my HP by combining this package with say headers/mufflers/filters from Fabspeed, but every bone in my body tells me that I'm just diffusing responsibility for the upgrade and setting myself up for interoperability issues. I want to hear about the most optimal solution to squeeze every HP and FP out of my 360 without reliability issues. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks. I'd print that immediately but my salt water aquarium just overflowed and fried the family laserjet..woohoo. I'm still interested in interoperability of the various solutions out there, and who's hardware works best. Private comments, if you don't want to get vendor specific publicly, are very appreciated.

    Check out the ECU tune here:
    http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/ferrari/217079-ferrari-f360-evomsit-software-tuning-sharkwerks.html

    I highly recommend Kinetix Racing high flow cats or any high flow cats, all of them are dyno proven to gain anywhere from 12 to 25rwhp. I have it on my 360, the before/after gain is very noticeable and made the car so much more fun to drive.

    Also make sure you have grippy tires, power is no good if you don't have enough traction.

    18-20 rwhp on a standard 360 is nice from just a tune. Wonder if the same gains can be had on a CS.

    Nightmare scenario: I go out and buy gruppe-m boxes, kinetix intakes and hoses, tubi exhaust, fabspeed headers, BMC filters, have them installed by ferrari and do the ecu tuning at yet another party, and some part of the combination just doesn't play well with the rest and I have a nightmare on my hands trying to unravel with completely diffused responsibility. Best I can tell, this might be the best combination of piece parts, each individually perhaps the best solution, but has anyone out there put it all together, or any other combination? I want to hear the good, bad and ugly. I've been down this road before in my hotrod days, buying the parts one place, sending to the machine shop, shipping to installation, dropping it in and not having what I expected when I'm done. I may not be wise, or even smart, but I'm not stupid enough to repeat that (am I?). I'll just keep listening and talking until I get some level of comfort with some combination solution I guess.

    Bob, have you called Fabspeed? From my research (I plan on getting a CS in about a year) it seems to me Fabspeed can hook you up with a complete package that includes everything your looking for. I will be looking into getting their headers, hyperflow cats, a Capristo level 3, smooth intake tubes, and an ecu upgrade. Then a lithium ion battery, remove the tool kit etc (along with the lighter exhaust) I'll lose about 100lbs. I'd guess the car will be around 460bhp and weigh 2700 lbs. If your 360 is not a CS, I'd look into ways to lighten your car as well. 360Trev has some very educational threads on how this can be done.

    So is the stock exhaust precat defect a time bomb or a mileage bomb? I only have 5600 miles on my 360. Read here somewhere a guy dodged a bullet hearing the noise before it toasted his engine at 20k miles or so. But which is it, age or mileage?

    Bob,
    I have the Gruppe M air box and it is not a big improvement. I got it from a good friend in this forum and I can’t let pass it.
    I have test pipes and a Maxspeed exhaust, that is a good upgrade.
    I’m working on the EUC so soon I will let you know how it goes.

    What intakes?
    The Gruppe M air box comes with oval type K&N filters inside the air box.

    I'll buy 'em off you, if you want to go back to your stock boxes.

    That looks awesome, it seems like it should help, especially with the carbon fiber heat shield between air box and exhaust

    Hey buddy!
    Did you know that gruppe m ask 1k for that shield !
    I made one with high heat resistant carbon fiber and attach it to the air box on the same place of the original.

    Que pasa tipo!!!

    I bought my sheet here;
    http://www.protechcomposite.com/servlet/StoreFront

    my exact sheet is the Textured Carbon Fiber Plate (I proof it and it can take the heat of my exhaust). Very important, it can take radiant heat so try to avoid contac with the exhaust.

    I also wrap my test pipes with this ;
