Here is a comparable on E bay now.. Not as nice a build this is what a kirkham on a budget looks like. for $160,000.00 no Stainless, no polished body, black roll bar and pipes etc.. Not a happy looking car.. 1965 AC Cobra Shelby by Kirkham | eBay
I always wondered about these. I especially like the type they have without the roll bar and side pipes. john
Stunning piece of automotive art, a lot of car for the money too.... ....and better quality of bodywork then any original Cobra (thanks to Polish craftsmen at former MIG factory who built that thing)
Michael, is that the Lawrence Ellison car? I assume it is. I hope you get your price but the prices are really all over the map and often come up on cobra country for very reasonable prices. I personally don't know why anyone would sell a car like this? what can you buy that is cooler? what can you buy that's faster? answer: nothing save for a lola t-70 mk III B.
that is a 289 fia...quite different and quite a rare version of a Kirkham. by no means is this a budget 289 fia.
Is there somewhere on here where we can follow your impressions that led up to selling this awesome machine?
In case you have not been following my saga................ My tunnel vision is quite an obsession.. Thats because there is a 288 waiting at the end of the tunnel. This is my way of getting there! ALL PPI's are welcome..In Fact!!!I will even pay for it!
