I just got a Kiwi OBD2 device and downloaded the Dash command app. I bought it to real time test my O2 sensors and check the voltages pre and post. I am trying to figure out a couple of codes (0422 and 0432) before I throw a couple of CATS into the budget. Also, I just want to learn.

My regular code reader will measure O2 voltage with the car running, but I don't know how to data log it. I thought the Kiwi and dash Command would do it. I can't even find the O2 voltages on the app? I have done some reading on the net and it seems you can do this. Anyone have any experience with this and can help me out and know what I am missing?

What is a PID? I learned it was Pelvic inflammatory disease.....I don't think that applies here! it is a neat tool, although some of it seems to be geared towards a younger crowd of tuners.

PID = Parameter ID. To display the O2 voltages you need to specify their PIDs as the ones to display/plot. I am not familiar with Dash command so I don't know how to do that in that software. But the PID for an O2 sensor would be something like SAE.O2SLOC11 for bank 1, location 1. SAE.O2SLOC21 for bank2, location1, etc.

John, thanks that makes sense. My code reader has all the parameters listed, and you just scroll through them. I will check the settings again. It seems good manuals have gone the way of road maps!

I found them! I had to press the menu button on my phone and it gave me more menus. Duh!
