Are there any Kiwis left over there guys???? We get Motorway Patrol over here and over half the Police force seem to be Poms or other foriegners with an accent.
from what I hear a lot of Poms come over to join the NZ Police and then return to UK as the Police here have such limited powers, similar with Sarf Africans who are used to other means of controlling matters! over 30,000 Kiwi's moved to Oz last year, I wonder if many were Police?
The Police Academy's a 200m walk up the road for me. I should walk up there and shout out "Kiora Bro" and see how many turn around. lol
Spotted a 348TB on Whatawhata Road this afternoon. Also mine has been out and about all week due to me being on holiday, surprised no one around here spotted me.
Your up late James, I take it your watching qualifying. What a horrible holiday driving a Ferrari around probably some of the best roads in the world.
Yep, watched quali, Forza Ferrari and congrats Kimi. Yeah, its a tuff life but someone has to do it. Speaking of great roads, i am organising the owners run for next month, man there are some cool roads between auckland and hamilton, if you don't mind the trip taking about 2.5hrs that is.
That should be no problem Drop me an email with the details if you are serious about the article for the mag.
Was lucky enough to drop by and spot these.......... Also found some F50 wheels being borrowed, bet the owner of the F50 is pissed! It's NZ's first Scud too, completely awesome in real life, sounded good too. Looks like a cool Ferrari dealership. Plenty of stock there and also right across from the Holden dealer too. I wonder how many Holden buyers walk across the road and admire all those Ferraris?
Wow. Has anyone heard about this yet? http://www.winourferrari.com/index.html Tried to find a copy of the book yesterday but every book shop I went to was out of stock!!!
Tempting... Will have to watch that interview once i get my sound working Was out at Pukekohe today watching the BMW series having a few non-championship races as support to the NZ V8s. Quality racing as usual and was a fun - yet laid back day. Spotted an X6 in the carpark. Looked quite cool although only caught a glimpse. Was a bit gutted to see the impressive replica (did i just say that?!) F40 (www.f40.co.nz) didnt turn up to race in the super sedans as expected.
Seen a few on the road. Love the white one. Also saw a dark grey one that looked pretty tits as well. These look nice.... http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www.edmunds.com//media/il/news/2008/0611/hartge.x6.f34.500.jpg
I have been informed that some people are unhappy about these Scud photo's being posted. I would like to publicly apologise for posting these photos. I apologise to the owner especially and will do so in person next time i see him and his wife. In my defence i would also like to add that the car was sitting in the dealer's public showroom and anyone (plenty were) could take a photo and do as they wish with that photo. If the car was intended to be kept private until its NZ release it would have been prudent of the dealership to have kept the car away from public eye. If i had taken the photo's in a restricted area i would have thought twice about posting them, i have plenty of photos i have taken while being in restricted areas, these photo's are kept for my enjoyment. None of the above removes the fact that i am solely responsible for taking the photos and posting them on a public website. For this i apologise again to the owner of the car.
sounds like some-one chewed your back-side! I have to side with you though, if the car/item/boat whatever is in the public domain, then its in the public domain. (great pics by the way)
Ha-ha, yeah sort of, I was told by a member of the sales team that i got him in trouble by posting the photo's then he went into detail about how i am LET to look at areas of the dealership and i basically should not abuse that privilege. It was more the way he said it as apposed to what he was saying. I am almost fed up with these guys, I was not LET to look at anything, i simply walked into a car showroom and these was a Scud, what, am i not supposed to take photo's? Really? From reading what i have written i sound upset, i am not upset at all, i just don't want the owners of the car in question to feel that i have done something wrong when I'm my opinion i have done nothing out of place. Also if you knew why i was at the dealership for 3 days running.............. Let me just say glue and leather together make me very annoyed! Esp when it was noticed by the tech who put it there and i get my car beck with it still all over my seat.
3 days running! I hope they paid your fuel bill! Just about to have the interior completely redone....ah the smell of new leather and glue!!
