What a difference! I must admit I love the glenvarigall (spellcheck?) day at Knockhill, got plenty of pics of F40's etc with the tail out at the hair pin. I remember the owner of one of them who is usually there every year. He gave it to a fairly young bloke, probably early twenties. I suspect he was a relative and certainly had driven it before but at one point he braked far too hard coming into the hairpin, locked up and spun right round, quite a sight! Also remember when a lady for some reason got her old metro into the paddock. Parked it at the top and got out walking away. Next minute, OI LOOK OUT, this guy jumps and grabs a little girl out of the road. The woman had forgotten to put her handbrake on, it rolled down the hill in the paddock and smacked off the back of a 348. I've also got a pic of that as well, bumper to bumper they were. The girl would certainly have acted as an airbag should the guy not have seen it coming.... MENTAL!
