That little dealer directly across the street had a 2006 (I think) Maserati QPorte for sale in December.

 

On my way to work this morning there was a baby blue Bentley Continental GT heading south on I-35...........on a flatbed.

 

Some friends of mine went and checked it out today. It was in the back storage. From what it sounds it could be had for far less than the buy it now price.

 

Yellow F430 has been confirmed and the MGB, blew the doors off the Diablo. We all had a good time. Anyone want an invite in the future, send me a PM. Ray

Just so there are no hard feelings to those who think they were not invited, this was not a formal gathering. I like to get out of the house once a week and have a drink with the boys and I tend to call locals who like to do the same. If you want a formal invite in the future send me a PM and I can call you. This is not an every Sunday thing or a private club or meeting. Anyone and everyone that wants to get out for a drink and look at some nice cars is welcome. Thank You, Ray

P.S. Was it you I helped with the battery for your alarm system a few months ago?

 

We really need to put a large group together but outcome is always so unpredictable. Anyone is invited, I do not own the Star Bar. I did have alarm issues last year and with help and advise, replaced the internal battery with recharable 9 Volts from Interstate Battery on 73 street, Windsor Heights.

 

I bet I could reliably get four cars from my group to attend.

 

OK Ray, since you have so graciously volunteered to organize us. Let’s plan something for April sometime when we think the weather might be favorable. Comments welcome on the concept.

 

A friend in Des Moines has just got his 458 Italia in a very light metallic burgundy.

Spotted a red Lotus on Merle Hay this morning at about 11:30. Couldn't tell if it was Exige or Elise. Made a hell of a sound though.

 

That was probably Joe he has been doing a lot of work on his car, which reminds me I should get him to join the site.
