Dark blue Bentley Continental GT on 100th around 12:30. He turned into the West Bank so I couldn't get a picture.

Lake Forest Ferrari came and got my car yesterday for yet another repair. I helped the driver pick up a Maserati and a 599 from Mr. Ole. He also has a Yellow Testarossa and a Red 458 Italia. Very nice man and pleasant to talk to.

I'm still searching. There's a few of Fireball Run coming into Cedar Rapids, various exotics there but non from Iowa that I could see.

Thanks! I was thinking that it didn't look much like a Jalpa and was slightly perplexed as to why someone would make a Jalpa kit. I completely spaced it being a Pantera. Thanks for the heads up on that one.

I did find another one of a bunch of kids talking to a doctor somewhere in Iowa as he's starting his Audi R8. It was red with black sills...anyone seen it or know of it?

Saw this car sitting at the worst possible shop you could take a Ferrari to. Cat prints all over the sheet from being walked on.

Yes, Polk County ---- West Des Moines, in fact.

 

Whoops; I wasn't thinking. Yes, 599. Wow, nice. Isn't that the place where the guy has like 30 supercars? Or is that somewhere else?

 

Nope. No one with anywhere near that, although there are two VERY SERIOUS collections located in Iowa City and in / near Cedar Rapids (different owners, of course). There are a few sizeable collections around Des Moines, but they are mostly comprised of lower-end cars (old Detroit iron, etc.).

But, there is also a guy around here who has a Daytona, an F40, a 288GTO, a 458, and a 360 Challenge in his stable.

 

Here is another Iowa exotic seen in the Ankeny Area. This is a good example that once again reminds us, that no matter what we drive, we are still a bunch of hicks. Just an observation.

I saw a Grigio over tan (very nice color combo ) California at the Star Bar on Ingersoll this afternoon --- caught the driver as he was leaving, but did not connect and did not recognize the person. Car has Dallas County (Iowa) plates. Anyone here ??

Caught a glimpse of this on Sunday on the southside of Des Moines down near the Southridge dump...Peugeot 206...Mexico Plates...Not even an exotic, just really, really strange
