I don't know if this was a repost. But it was pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yURa9T0-Rjk
if it's a repost, it's definitely new to me. the aston martin must have been another gift to his wife,
Stationary camera on a sunny day + color key in the editor. Also, the car may be just a little farther away from the camera than he is to make it smaller.
That expansive grey background would be an easy digital edit. This is not real. A viral ad for the shoes. Think about it - he's worth how many tens of millions per year? The NBA wouldn't let him do his own stunts, or even participate in risky sports, let alone jump moving cars.
Great, every kid that looks up to him will try this even if it was fake, it makes you think when will the first lawsuit appear.
Shadows look funny to me too...can't be specific but he has a REALLY long shadow and the Aston's shadow looks 'shorter'.
Oh yeah definitely edited. Like the powerade commercials. They still did a good job. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbmW7CY0sBw
It's fake, theres a youtube video of him saying "It's hollywood baby". Just search Kobe Bryant response.
I am sure there are details in his contract on what he cant be doing- stunt is fake...such as when Ben Rothlisberger (SP?) crashed on his bike, they said no more bike riding...and no more snow boarding for Radmanovic...too much at stake..
Could you imagine the look on the faces of the suits if he actually tried something like that? They'd all squeeze so hard their heads would pop! HA
fake for sure.....car is moving slightly to the back of kobe- watch the wheels turn a bit if you slow down the video. props for him jumping up so high though- hes got a great vertical leap
Heres a discussion: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Kobe-Bryant-jumps-over-a-moving-Aston-Martin?urn=nba,76232
Yes, it was fake. Here's the actual commercial! http://www.maniacworld.com/kobe-atte...-over-car.html
The car is behind Kobe. You can see his shadow on the side of the car when he jumps. Good perspective trick
Your point is made. But I just want to correct you on the Rothlisberger crash. Rothlisberger was cut off by a stupid b*tch who was making a left turn from an oncoming lane. She was at fault. Rothlisberger was not speeding or riding his Hayabusa irresponsibly at all.

If the Player violates this Paragraph 12, he shall be subject to discipline imposed by the Team and/or the Commissioner of the NBA.
"it's hollywood baby!" here's kobe's response to the commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FHx_UWe7gc
