    I was very sad to read that Kodachrome film has today been discontinued by the Kodak company.

    I agree, but it was inevitable. However, Dwayne's Photo http://www.dwaynesphoto.com/ has committed to processing until 12-31-2010, and Kodak says that it will continue to produce as long as current bulk stock lasts (projected until early autumn). Google "The Kodachrome Project" to see a forum of people dedicated to sending Kodachrome out with a bang.

    I just ordered 10 rolls of KR 64 from Adorama...

    Agfa Scala, too, I guess. I spose I should dust off my Leicas and get some 64. I have prints of me as a kid my grandfather took with 64 back in '64. Nothing did color like Kodachrome. I shot a bunch of 25 in Switzerland years ago and am always amazed at those slides.
