    Along the same lines as the zonda thread , any one know how many (if any) koenigseggs there are in the states, i know theres a dealer in florida, but have they sold any yet, and more to the point is it road legal in the U.S?
    Any body have any info or pictures?

    It appears there have been two that've reached American soil but on temporary visas only- and will have to go back (if they aren't back already)- one in the Miami area and one in California. There will be a yellow one coming in via my friend by the end of March though.

    thanks for the info.

    Is that the same guy who owns the zonda monza? i heard that he owns a koenigsegg but its not based in the states,So will the yellow one be U.S. legal or temporary too?

    The gentleman with the Monza does NOT have (as far as I know) a Koenigsegg in the states, however, does have a beautiful collection of super exotics- anything and everything you could possibly dream of (sans a McLaren). It would not surprise me if he had one abroad as I understand some of his cars are, but as far as I know, it wasn't his in the states.

    And as per the yellow Zonda, I'm not 100% certain on the status of the car (as per it's legal state or whether it's on a 'show and display', etc).

    oh i thought you meant a yellow koenigsegg was coming at the end of march, thats the car i was asking as to whether or not it would be temporary or legal in the U.S.

    The yellow Koenigsegg, as far as I know, will be legal for 'show and display' use, will double check though.

    All i know of is a Black CC8S in Florida.

    Was there an older gentleman that bought the CC8S? I've seen pictures floating around on various forums and such that show a guy pumping gas into a Koenigsegg CC8S with Florida plates. That car one and the same?

    So is the Koenigsegg not US road legal then? Is it available only purely via "show and display" ?

    no that was the black cc8s that the florida dealer had over on a temporary visa, the one in alloutexotics' pictures in the link above.
    As far as i know its not legal 'yet' and is only to be on show and display, but i think they are working on legalising it , as pagani are (working) on the zonda to legalise it.
