    Hi suspension Experts

If a (Mondial-type) KONI shock absorber is removed and on its own, is it supposed to extend to its maximum length due to its internal pressure?
Or asked differently - if it stays in whatever position is is moved, is it time for a rebuild?

    Thanks for clarifications...

Only if it is a gas shock. Which I’m sure they are not

I know nothing about Koni...........yes I know they are on my car, but I have never heard of a shock not extending to max length as being OK.

Well... they don't, as they have no internal pressure; attached the KONI doc. Unless I have missed something... They are twin tube hydraulic shocks. No gas pressure.
