Help! I set my DVR to record the race live. I always set it to have plenty of extra space, at 3 hrs, but with all of the safety car deployments, and the red flag, I only got to see 39 laps before my recording ended. I did a search to see if I could find a replay broadcast, and came up with nothing.

The replay was Sunday afternoon. Now you'll need to find a downloadable version on the internet.

That's why you always watch live.

Do you know where I might find that?

Yep, I always try to do that and I am surprised when people who pretend they are real F1 fans don't do the same!
It will stop this *SPOILERS* nonsense too.

Some people don't watch a GP for 3 days, and don't want anyone to mention the results, although they are in most newspapers for anyone to know...

I would stay up at night or cancel a family gathering just to watch a F1 GPs or MotoGP, or Superbike live on TV. Even did it for some boxing too.
I fit my holidays between GPs too!

Thanks a million! Just finished watching it. Very much appreciated!

Umm, I take a little offense to that. Pretend? I haven't missed a single race in over 23 years. I have seen about 10 races live. Quite frankly, I don't understand how someone can start watching a race at 1:30AM, and have it end at probably 4 or 5AM in the case of this past race. Boy, you must have loved it when the safety car was out for what, 20 laps? And then a red flag? Wait a second, I just saw that you are in England..........not too hard to watch it live from there, now is it? Would you have done it in our time zone, where it started at 1:30AM??? You guys in Europe never have it too badly in regards to watching it live....even a broadcast from somewhere like Montreal, you can still watch it live at what, around 9PM? Major difference there, mate!

There's nothing better than waking up at my own leisure on a Sunday morning, eat a nice breakfast, and then sit down with a pot of coffee and watch the race. With no commercials. Was it live? No. But it's not like I wait so long where I am in danger of finding the results out, so it is the exact same thing as watching it live, for me. Also, I am wide awake, whereas if I attempted to watch it live, it's doubtful I would make it. Not because I don't love racing, but because I am simply exhausted by then.

Not anymore on the BBC, but we used to have them when ITV (a commercial channel) used to have the contract.

These £145 a year I paid to watch TV are priceless when it comes to watching sporting events without the dreaded commercials!!
