I took my 360 spider in to Krause and England for the annual fluid change and its first service here in Raleigh this week. I must say, these guys a very stand up group. I was advised by the dealership in Los Gatos that my car needed an alignment. Rod and Peter looked at the car and found that the tire pressures were off on the right side therefore it was pulling that direction. I guess that little detail does not come with a third party inspection. They changed the oil, clutch fluid, gearbox oil, bled the brakes along with testing of the differential oil and coolant to make sure it was still up to specs all for a reasonable price. These guys are avid racers and appear to really enjoy what they do with a passion. I guess I'm pretty lucky to have an independent shop with so much experience right in my backyard. Good work guys!

I know Peter runs a very strict track event. Anyone remember the FCA National meet in Atlanta in 1999?

    My first post here.

I totally agree. I had Krause & England check out a '97 M3 sedan I was considering. High mileage car (95k plus at that time). Peter Krause was the one I talked to, and I was very impressed with how professional the shop was, and how helpful he was.

I felt bad because they had to lower a 348 off the lift to do a PPI on a less significant car! However, Peter never made me feel like I was less significant. I got the impression that every customer is important to them, and treated very well.

I would highly recommend them. Class acts, and they usually have some beautiful and rare cars on display, or that they are working on.

Thank you for the kind words, gentlemen. We're trying to spruce up our act and attract more Ferrari business.

We've got a great crew and a nice shop and look forward to meeting more Ferrarichat posters at the shop or at the track.

Even after twenty-three years of repair and maintenance of V-6, V-8, V-12 and "180-degree" V-12's, we NEVER get tired of talking Ferrari! I'm shopping for an SD2 right now!

As far as Atlanta '99 goes, you're right, Tommy. No FCA Annual Meet had ever hosted 218 cars on track before.

After losing several cars to the concrete walls at Road Atlanta and some very close calls due to aggressive driving, I made the decision to stop the event and was inappropriate in the tone of my address to folks Saturday afternoon.

There were no more incidents after that, though! Water under the bridge...

    Thanks again, folks, we're trying!

    -Peter

You were NOT inappropriate. It was a few select drivers in that Red group that were inappropriate. I remember thinking while you were addressing the track group that I was glad someone had a pair big enough to make the decision you did. You may have saved someone's neck, not just their expensive toy.

I remember calling Los Gatos enquiring about service history on my 360 just after I bought it. They were quick to tell me to bring it in for this and that and a 5,000 mile service for the low price of $5K I want to say. The service guy didn't even stop to ask where I lived. If they try that enough I guess they get a few sucka's falling for it.
