I am currently running a Capristo level 3 with Tubi decats on my 355, its a wonderful sounding combination. Im still intrigued by the Kreissieg system, has anyone got one fitted? Ive searched all threads on this, and havent actually found any information on people with the system on the car. Im wondering how it compares to my setup, if anyone has any real information and not just links to videos. Cheers, Jon
Kreissieg sounds killer! As is the price! I thought the X-man, Xiavor had one fitted to his yellow 355?? Its a shame he doesnt post here anymore because he could tell us. I have some pics, but not too sure it is Kreiseieg??
I've been thinking about getting one. I'm having the GruppeM intake installed today, which will hold me over for a while... but I don't think I'll be able to resist the Kreissieg exhaust. I'd also be interested in hearing from people who have them just to see what the fitment and quality is like. -R
Count me in for a group buy if your thinking of starting one... Im interested in Kreissiegs exhaust. Kimmo/Sweden.
Thanks for clearing that up Craig. I remember he was talking a lot about Gruppe M stuff, but he also mentioned once to me that he was thinking of a Kreissieg.
Got a ride in a 355 today with a full GruppeM intake and exhaust system... I pretty much laughed the whole time. That thing sounds insane -R
Dudes, save your money and talk to goth. No better system for the cash, IMO. I'm tellin' you it's the real deal.
I took your advice, just PM'd Goth, and my 348 exhaust will be here next week!! OK, I actually ordered it some time ago, but it will still be here next week
Yes, we should apologize. But, I think in this case no one has really had any experience with this brand. What I know is that they are, purportedly, of very high quality, are made in almost a per-order manner, are extremely expensive, have a very high-pitched sound and the length of time between order and receipt is on the order of several months (at a minimum). IMO, sure there is quite a bit of tuning involved to get an exhaust system to function in the most efficacious manner (performance v. drivability v. sound), but I don't see how Kreissieg could have possibly optimized their system to the point that they are justified in charging almost 2X what upper-end manufacturers like Capristo charge for their systems. All of the aforementioned manufactures use the same grade stainless steel, basically the same type of sound insulation, the same quality TIG welding, etc. I, personally, have never known or met anyone who had one of these systems on their car, nor have I heard a good "sound byte" on YouTube. In addition, they seem to be a bit of an "unknown quantity", in that they don't really advertise and they only have a few distributors. So, there you have it. I guess no one really knows that much about them. Contact one of their distributors (someone mentioned one of them in a Thread a while ago, but I can't remember the distributors name) a get some info. Good luck!
Too bad, I got the last one they had I'm a big fan... now I just need to get the Kreisseig exhaust. -R
Robin: What have you heard about this company? Have you actually heard one of their systems on an F355? I really can't seem to find much info. on them or their products. But I'm planning on replacing my Tubi and I'd like to get the "best" system possible. The Tubi is too biased to the low frequency and too low volume for my tastes.
You DO NOT want to visit the Aussie section then mate. Usually the 2nd post is where we start to stray off topic.
