    Excuse me for not going through an hour of searching to see if this has been mentioned before. I bought a product called "Krud Kutter" at Wal-Mart for another purpose, and found out it did a fantastic job cleaning my 348's sticky parts. I've tried many suggested cleaners, with little luck. This stuff is amazing. It's non-toxic, non-acidic, biodegradable, made in the USA. It just melted away the goo. Can be found in the paint department at Wal-Mart.

    Cool tip. Thanks for sharing it. I think someone else here has recommended a similar sounding product from Lowes.

    91% isopropyl alcohol has worked well for me but I bought a side vent part from an FChatter that has a primer on it which alcohol doesn't touch, so apparently those parts were painted with different things, depending on when they were made or which supplier built them.
