I know he's banned & won't read this but when somebody goes well beyond what you'd expect, you just have to recognize them. So, I arrive at GDC/Arena with the 308 for the ride up to Montreal. But at the traffic light, my brake pedal goes to the floor. My car had an Emergency Brake dragging issue and it reared it's ugly head again causing the brake fluid to boil. Steve Arena jumped in & did what he could, but after testing it, the brake pad was still dragging so he reluctantly nixed my wishes to drive the 308 up to Canada. Fudge. So I was about to head home & pick up the Mazda for the trip figuring I'd be at least an hour behind the crew. Then Shivam turned around & handed me the keys to his brand new Evo 10. He had driven it there to pick up his 355. This save me sooo much time & I was able to ride with the crew. Kudos to a stand-up guy. Shivam is the real deal. BTW: My next daily beater may very well be an Evo. Very fast, easy to drive, and a lot of car for the money.
Is that the dude with the red 355 spider who likes to brag about his exhaust? What happened to him? He seemed very nice.
Nice story. Sorry to hear about the 308, but all ended well. VERY nice of Shivam. The only person I can be sure would do something like that would be..Clyde!
That's awesome, you can only expect that from a very good friend or a brother. Last year I saw his beautiful 355 Spider! I love that car...He seems to have a good taste for cars. Mitsubishi EVO is definitely a great car for the money.
I haven't heard from Shivam in quite some time, he's a great guy! Always looking to help out whenever he can. This doesn't suprise me one bit. I'm sure he lurks here even though he's banned, he's a sneaky fellow. See you soon Shivam.
Last I heard he doesn't come on any board too much anymore, but he is a stand up guy that's for sure! =]
Shivam is a great guy! Clyde failed to mention that the Evo X didn't even have a 1000 miles on the odo at the start of the trip...
Werd. Sivam is a great guy. If he makes his online persona as stand up as his real-life persona, can we un-ban him?
Shivam is def a very cool guy, I remember hanging out with him in VIP at Pacha to see Armin van Buuren.
he is the man.. got to hang with him and his cousin all weekend.. if he is real deal enough to drive his ferrari from new york to montreal and back why would he be banned from this site.. from what i see there are a lot of guys who like to sit around rubbing their cars down.. to each his own and all but he is a real deal enthusiast, why not get him back in here.
