I've got to compliment the guys at Euroquipe in St. Charles. I dropped off my '89 Mondial T for it's 30k service and I was very pleased with the outcome. The tech there is named Kurt (An F'chatter) and he knows Ferraris inside and out. Every time that I visited, he took the time to educate me which I truly appreciate since this is my first Ferrari. During the inspection, he determined that I needed a new clutch and it was installed. Kurt also recommended a number of other repairs which were all appreciated. The car nice when I got it in November but now it's super nice.
I also had them install the Pedal kit which is very cool as well as tinker with a few switches etc.
I've attached a few pictures of my "engine out". Bottom line is to give these guys a call if you need any repairs on your Ferrari or Porsche, BMW or other high end cars. The shop is very clean and Brad who is the main contact is very pleasant and polite. They also provided me with a CD-Rom with photographs documenting the entire service. I think it's a great idea. It was a real pleasure working with them.
The shop is easily located in St. Charles phone number is 630 377-3774.
This is a completely unsolicited thread although it may sound as if they paid me to do it. I know that owners in the western suburbs are always looking for a good shop. Go to www.euroquipe.com
Feel free to contact me at 630 567-0066 or [email protected] if you'd like to hear more about my experiences with them.

I agree Kurt is top-notch; I worked with him when he was at FVM. He knows Lotus and Maserati too. Good tech and a good guy.

Kurt at Euroquipe did the major service on my 328 last September and I was pleased with the work. The bill was over $5800 which is comparable to what LFSC charges, although I didn't have to wait but a few days to get the car into the shop.

The last major on the car was done 6 years prior, and Kurt also did the work that time while employed at LFSC.

Comparable to LFSC? Last time I was there (In Fall) They quoted $8500.00 for a 308 service. Continental was closer to $10K! So, it is nice to have a great, "just as good if not better", less expensive alternative to the local dealerships. Kudos to Euroquipe indeed! Much needed, and I hope that they do well!

In September 2006 LFSC quoted me $5800 for a major service on my '88 328. Euroquipe's final tab was $5856.16, also in September 2006.

Euroquipe was able to do it sooner and in less time than LFSC. Plus I liked that they provided digital pictures of the car taken apart.

I've only dealt with the parts department at LFSC so maybe they were lowballing me on the major service estimate and the final bill would have been higher. All I know is what they told me.

Bottom line is that Euroquipe is a good choice, I'd rather use an independent than the dealership whenever possible.

I should have a look at this place sometime. This place is only 12 minutes away from me based on Map Quest.

What is Kurt's username here in F-Chat?
