Send an e-mail to Fabio, the factory historian, at fabio.collina@maserati.com

I own #210 and it was built on 11 of December 1979 and is titled as a 1980. Where are you located?

    Hi Ivan

The car is in South Africa where it was delivered in 1983 but I suspect now that it came in as a second hand car or perhaps one that sat at a dealer because back then it was impossible to import second hand cars that were not at that time deemed as classics. The service book says the effective date of warranty is 29/7/83 but I’ll certainly contact Fabio as per your very helpful suggestion.

The car is presently offered for sale at £40,000

Should be a build date stamp on the door plate with vin. However, that more than likely is not the actual build date, but the “Official” build date which was done to avoid certain Government Emissions and/or Safety mandates That would take effect on vehicles built after a certain date.

of particular note is the last 2 production Boras, both are Officially built as 1977 model year cars, however the were both built in October 1978.

That is only true of USA delivered cars. The Kyalami was never sold in the USA and therefore it does not have this door plate.
