What is a good price to pay for one of these? I've been offered a mint one for £150 and wanted to know if that was good, bad or indifferent!

It's a yellow one if that makes any difference.

    Thanks in advance.

I bought my red one when they first came out, I got it for $395 - including tax, shipping and an Autoart 1:12 scale display case... not too bad, IMO.

Now, if I'm converting this correctly, you're being offered one for about $285... which, in my opinion is a fair price for one in mint condition. I haven't checked ebay lately, but you might give it a look. That will give you a pretty good indication of what they are going for...

I bought mine online from Tower Hobbies for $249 during a sales promotion... I think their normal price is $299. As long as you dont get raped on the shipping, yours is a nice deal.

Edit mine is also red... I believe the yellow commands slightly more as its a newer release.

I just saw a Yellow and a Red model at a nice model shop in Siam Discovery Center in Bangkok last week. They were asking 18,000 baht wiihch would be $460.00. They also had a 2002 Amalgan for about $5,000.00
I am looking for a 1/42 BBR 550. Any of these left around?

Have you seen the PMA-Minichamps 550? Its a nicer representation of the Maranello IMHO. And slightly cheaper too.

I can get kyosho 1:12 F40 in any version (Red, Yellow or Light-weight) for $390 with no shipping cost because the store locate just about 2 miles from my place. I know that I can get a lot cheaper from Ebay or other hobby stores in State. But after consideration of the highly shipping cost from NA to Asia, the price shouldn't be much different. Moreover that hobby store near my place do carry many stock for the 1:12 F40 Model in any version. So I can inspect all of them by myself and pick the perfect one. What do you guys think? Should I get the model for this price?
    Best Regards,
