I need some help with this.
I´m chassing and f40 1718 from Kyosho...i wnated the normal version but it´s too hard/expensive to get...i found a light wieght with a good price. Question is, are there more diferences between them other than the wheels? Is the light wieght a real car or just some stupid invention from Kyosho?
thanks in advance for any replys about this.

Are they worth that much now? I paid $100 for mine a year ago.
The street looks great and is completely worth it.
The differences are the exhaust and wheels. It looks like the high end version also has the wing changed.
Theres another one for 120 pounds - EDIT: just realized it is for UK buyers only

I believe the side windows are different, too. They are on the 1/43 Kyosho versions. Normal is solid piece, and the LW is the small slide window.

i went ahead and bought one. very expensive, but these are so rare, and will only go up in value as time goes on i'm guessing. i'm not really a full on collector of diecasts because it's so expensive. but this is my first high model diecast and the next one i want is the sang noir veyron by autoart which still hasn't come out yet..

I have them all. The LW car is basically a name Kyosho invented to distinguish the two models, but it is totally existing car. The differences are the side windows, the interior door panels, the wheels and the exhaust. I modified mine to include a four point harness to complete the interior.
