    Called Snipes and they're here to stay. In fact, as a bonus that comes with digital television you can expect them to proliferate, profusely. Now that Brighthouse Networks is able to "push" out firmware/software updates to my cable box I fully expect that some hacking of the system will be forthcoming.

    Anyone got a lead on some HDTV adware blocking?

    Bugs the beep out of me too. Especially hate when they cover up subtitles when characters start speaking foreign languages. You would think they would notice that!

    The commercial advertising business is almost dead. Because of TiVo, people do not have to watch them anymore. I know a top commercial producer and he's been out of work for 2yr (except small jobs). So I think this sort of advertising will continue to grow quickly.
