When engine very hot the starter solenoid just clicks when turning the key. After cooling down starts no problem. Removing starter and solenoid shows no problem. Exhaust heat shields removed and checked. Lower shield not positioned well, now fixed. Any ideas out there??

I highly recommend it. I owned a few Dino's over the years and there was always that doubt that lingered when the engine was hot and I hoped it was going to start. With new starter it there is NO longer any doubt. It starts first crank. Love it.

Did the same thing with mine.

Ask UroTrash if he's ever had a starting problem.

One of the best upgrades I did to the car, other than the higher compression pistons and carefully re-tuned carbs to squeeze a little more juice out of the motor.
