Nice to see a few fellow Texans chiming in. Howdy! Gold should have a range of $1400-1600 for the remainder of the year "on average" with a spike coming in May then again in late Sept. Mark my words.... If you have GOLD,Platinum,Palladium... I would cash out every last ounce and buy Rhodium for about $100 over spot. $100-120 over spot is what it goes for. If you like bulk metals Silver is a safe bet. If you have a big enough safe I would load up w/silver with some Rhodium into the mix. Platinum will be stagnant for the remainder of the year, and Palladium has about $100-130 room to move up for the remainder of the year. Remember guys this IS WHAT I DO for a living. =)
No, he is from Hong Kong. Jimmy is the phonetic sound of his Chinese name. His brother's name is Biao, which we pronounce "Bill."
We're being realistic here. You're looking at about $1300 a pound or so. ME63-4N 99.99% pure. The only realistic use for this metal is TV and computer monitor manufacturers. Unless you're one of the above, and or know what your doing with that type of metal I would strongly suggest you park your $ in something you know that is a bit more main stream. I deal to the masses not specialized entities so a metal like Europium would not be something I would personally keep a physical stock. However if I had an order for it I can get it a kilo at a time. Let me know how many kilos you want.
What about rhodium demand going up in the next 10 years, because it's primarily (about 75%) used in catalytic converters for cars and other engines (as emerging economies Brazil India and China buy more cars)... But after the switch to electric, demand will fall sharply?
Switching to electric is an "if" and not a "when". I wouldn't count on a huge shift in demand for fossil-fueled vehicles over the next 10 years.
Any chance we could get back on track and you can start a thread about minerals etc elsewhere. Every time I see there has been a post about an LF for sale, I click on only to find more rare earth stuff.
Hey now! EYE didn't start the gold topic here did EYE? EYE just responded to what EYE was reading and was being discussed. Again this is not about meeeh. lol Besides EYE'm not trying to sell you guys anything unless someone requests something. Already talk tonight with the Swiss, to combine the app. To Monte Carlo.
I remember when some time ago there was a story on this board that multiple people from Monaco want to buy F70 but they can't because they were not selected by Ferrari. So where are they now? It's look like many people lose their enthusiasm after offical premiere of LaFerrari. not long time ago people were willing to "kill someone" to buy F70, and now no one want it? http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/ferrari-andere-la-ferrari-bianco-avus-leder-rot-lt-okt-13-ingolstadt/178004416.html?lang=de&pageNumber=137&__lp=137&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=price.consumerGrossEuro&makeModelVariant1.makeId=8600&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&negativeFeatures=EXPORT .
No one wants it? Where are you getting your information from? Some people are incredibly naive and gullible...
And the game is starting, as usual! same as for the Enzo, then the 430 scuderia, then the GTO, now the LaFerrari, and what next?
Not a bad payday for brokering a car, your paying 1,000,000 euros just to have the opportunity to buy LaFerrari at whatever that will cost.
Regarding the La Ferrari, seems that Ferrari wants to very controlling as to who gets the "privliage" of buying a La Ferrari, but they could care less how much the dealer's and specualtors gouge the REAL Ferrari person, THE CUSTOMER! Remenber a few years back when Ferrari got a lot of bad press for all the price gouging, their next supercar, Ferrari stipualted the car could not be sold for 1 year, except back to the dealer, and that kept the prices much more fair and equal. As a friend of mine , that has a full time Ferrari shop has said, Ferrari (Fiat?), only cares about the blood profits, and that the company is doing a fine job of.
Those who can, do. Those who can't, complain about it. Ferrari has customers lined up around the corner to buy their product. Sure there are times when things get tough and they struggle to sell cars. This is not one of those times. -F
Yes, but these cars should be going to enthusiasts not traders and after all the noise about careful vetting the is something very disappointing about an early Montezemolo approved car being available whilst genuine die hard fans go wanting.
Yes. I doubt if Ferrari is happy about this since they are well aware of their more populous customer base. We may eventually find out how they deal with it.
Yeah, what are you gonna' do? I guess there are a few extras around and dealers are able to deal. As far as die hard fans going wanting, I'd be interested in hearing how many die hard customers are actually being denied. I know of two people here in little ole Colorado who want to buy the car. They have done nearly everything to get in line (buying everything off the dealer's lot, participating in the Challenge program, etc.). I haven't heard if they have been accepted or not but if not, then yeah, you're right, it would be an example of brokers getting the car before solid customers and that would be a big time fail on Ferrari's part. -F
The last time I bought Armani was about 15 years ago! And pretty much everything I wore for work was by him. China may be falling off a cliff. But Armani, I think they started going downhill many years ago. They are no longer a force in Fashion.
Geez 1M Euro + whatever the car costs + a year maybe a little longer to get it. Must be nice to be a broker to these cars. You get to play with someone else's money. Do it 2 maybe 3 times and you have a free LaLa. I'm in the wrong business. Too those fools that might be reading this, wait it out there WILL be a few sooner than later once the hype has died down. It sure beats giving away a million euros.
