Not so...there are Apertas out there with plaques that suggest they are a specific number within the '80' built...

The guy who said "whoever with money will buy the LaFerrari" is right.

Whoever with money can buy it. 3 already for sale in Italy only.

    Offerte

Of course a LOT of money, but this exclusivity is nonsense.

Interestingly the photos used by these "dealers" and "brokers" are from a LF in Munich, Germany, and Dubai...................the same photos can also be found in the Ferrari La Ferrari picture thread on fchat..............

499 cars in the world is still pretty exclusive. Over 1300 F40's were made and there's no shortage of demand there.

And Aperta is the last car they have chronological numbering on, because multiple customers requested the same number (such as 1 of 80 and 80 of 80) and they all got their wish (so there are several Apertas with the same plaque number), while the rest of the Aperta's are numbered in the traditional fashion.

To not have to deal with this anymore, Ferrari simply gave all the cars a 1/xx(x) plaque from then on.

There is one for sale in Dubai with GCC specs by GTR Motors ... to be delivered in 2 months ... but asking price is beyond silly ... borderline stupid.

    Asking for 3.5M USD

    Crazy ...

    seen on the internet:

"Ferrari's hybrid supercar 'LaFerrari' has been commanding premiums of £1m over its £1.2m list price, according to prestige car finance provider Oracle Finance.

Just 499 of the 950 bhp cars were made, with Ferrari only considering buyers with existing collections of other Ferraris. Oracle suggested this exclusivity has contributed to the high premiums.

According to Peter Brook, Oracle Finance managing director, the price inflation of La Ferrari is just one example of the Italian brands enduring popularity: "It's a buying frenzy out there at the moment for Ferraris and nothing demonstrates that like the million-pound premiums we're seeing for the LaFerrari."

"When you look at the prices of the Enzo, the exclusive hypercar that went before it, that has doubled in recent years from the £400,000 list price to close to £1m now."

Although not as high as with the Ferraris, Oracle noted a number of prestige cars were commanding a premium, including £300,000 premiums for McLaren P1s, £200,000 premiums for Posche 918 Spyder and £30,000 premiums for Lamborghini Huracan."

Dunno who they talk to, but at 2m€ for a delivered car, I can't find a client as everyone tells me it is too expensive.....

I wouldn't put too much faith in this, as anyone could walk into any Porsche dealer in the USA today and buy a 918 at $0 premium...

In view of Sergio's braggadocio about making as many LaFerraris as there are super rich who want one, perhaps a discount is in order.

Yes you can order a 918 and have the car delivered in 6mo. No reason to pay a premium.

Though, I do recall hearing, in passing, from someone at Porsche (can't remember whom now), that it's only this easy in the US market. Most other markets have all their allocations spoken for already.

There were a few purportedly for sale last month, one in Germany and two in the Emirates. One, a black example, apparently sold before I could reply to the initial e-mail and ask for pictures.
